Responsibilities:
Player Development:
- Design and implement effective training programs to enhance individual and team skills.
- Focus on fundamental skill development, including but not limited to shooting, dribbling, passing, and defensive techniques.
- Provide personalized feedback and constructive criticism to each player, fostering continuous improvement.
Team Building:
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate team activities, including practices, games, and tournaments.
Game Strategy and Analysis:
- Develop and implement game strategies that align with the Farm System's overall basketball philosophy.
- Conduct thorough analysis of games and player performance to identify areas for improvement and adjust training plans accordingly.
Communication:
- Effectively communicate with players, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and understanding of the development process.
- Provide regular updates on player progress and program activities.
Player Assessment:
- Conduct regular assessments of players' abilities and potential for advancement within the organization.
- Collaborate with scouting personnel to identify talents and recommend promotions to higher levels of play.
Education and Mentorship:
- Stay current with the latest coaching techniques, training methodologies, and basketball trends.
- Act as a mentor and role model, instilling values of sportsmanship, discipline, and dedication in players.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a basketball coach or trainer, preferably with youth development programs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Strength and Conditioning, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience working with athletes at various levels, preferably within a sports farm system.
- Strong knowledge of periodization, biomechanics, and sports physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt training programs based on individual athlete needs and sports-specific requirements.

- Technical Instruction: Teach fundamental softball skills such as hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, and catching using effective coaching techniques and drills.
- Tactical Coaching: Develop players' strategic understanding of the game, including situational awareness, game management, and decision-making on the field.
- Physical Conditioning: Implement strength, agility, and conditioning programs to enhance players' physical performance and reduce the risk of injury.
- Mental Skills Training: Provide guidance on mental preparation, goal setting, concentration, confidence-building, and resilience to help athletes perform at their best under pressure.
- Team Building: Foster a positive team culture, camaraderie, and sportsmanship among players, encouraging teamwork, mutual respect, and support.

- Proven track record of success in coaching softball, preferably at the youth or high school level, with a demonstrated ability to develop players and achieve results.
- Strong instructional and motivational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate softball techniques and concepts to players of all ages and skill levels.
- Positive attitude, leadership ability, and a passion for helping young athletes learn and grow on and off the field.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to plan and coordinate training sessions, communicate with players and parents, and collaborate with other coaches and staff members.
